Very facinating pics.  they're looking great.  all this time i thought larrivee necks were shaped with computerized machines.

If John Larrivee is planning on finishing them before the Christmas holiday, they must be VERY close to being done as of today.

You'll notice none of the pics show the finished fretboard.

I think the surprise is going to be a Christmas tree inlay on the 12th fret  :lol:

I've really enjoyed watching the building of these Forum guitars...like others have said, almost like making the journey with those lucky few who pulled the trigger and ordered this special guitar.  The all mahogany ones DO look fine with the abalone rosette..and I'll bet the tone will be awesome (he says in his best teenager impersonation..some 30+ years ago!)

Randy I noticed that and was going to comment. I don't think you have seen the peghead either.

If it is going to be an inlay, the JCL classic logo would be an outstanding choice.

Sweet looking guitars! I'm a recent convert to the Darkside (ie. rosewood)  <_< , but I think I could make an exception for one of these. It's been fascinating to get a glimpse of the guitar making process.

Watching this whole process from the sidelines really makes me glad that I went with Larrivee for my "good" guitars.
