Anybody got the scoope` on what Larrivee has been posting on Facebook about a new line coming soon? One that is "electrifying"? Would seem like a new electric guitar coming. I'm throwing out either Semi-hollow or S-Style. Anyone?

Yeah ... me too. I have several Warmoth Strats, so I wouldn't be as tempted by one of those (riiiight!!!); but a Larrivee semi-hollow or hollowbody - you know it's going to be beautiful and sound incredible! How can I not "have to" have one?!

No need to worry, I have a suspicion that this will be Larrivee brand premium guitar cables.

The most 'logical' addition looking at their lineup is a strat-style guitar.  They got (sorta?!) the LP with the RS4, the Tele with Bakersfield, and the only iconic guitar missing is the Strat.  I already have a heavenly strat (sitting on my lap right now actually  ) so I'd probably not be too interested.  A hollow body though...  that would have me peekin'!

I really hope Larrivee starts making more of 'their own' guitars.  I think the RS4 is a very non-LP instrument.  It doesn't sound like one, doesn't play like one, doesn't look like one (well maybe a little).  The Bakersfield is a Tele, straight up.  Of course I haven't played one, but it sounds, looks, and probably should play like one... idk... to me that's kinda been done albeit the Bakersfield is one sweet Tele.  I'd just like to see them hit more with their own stuff.  Maybe a hollow dual-cutaway or something.  I'm antsy!

I'm guessing either a semi hollow or full hollow, or amps. But a S Style guitar would make the most sense.

I guess we all knew the strat was the only thing missing in their electric lineup.  IDK maybe it's a shredder guitar tho.  It does have me curious if they're now making their own SC pups.  Hopefully they're gonna come out with a semi-hollow body guitar one of these days.  They need a really original electric IMO.  Guess you can't go wrong with a strat or tele tho.

my opinion exactly. as sweet as a strat is (and I do love strat style guitars) I was really hoping for a hollowbody.

Hey Phil, Matt didn't wind the pups for the Bakersfield. Probably SDs, again (just a big guess) Altho' they could be special designs. Flat pole in that pic. Nice! Assuming it'll have the Liberator system, too.

Yes. With the same attention to history and detail that I put in the Humbucker.

If this is a rear routed Strat style, I will definitely be interested in this.

Well, the P-90s ARE single coil pickups, too. So it's not a stretch for Matthew to make other styles of single coils...

...I don't think PICKUPS are what Larrivee was/is talking about on their facebook page, though...just guessin' (!)  whistling
