There is a really nice OM-03MQ for sale at The Twelth Fret.  A real beauty.  I just got an OM-50 so I really can't buy this.  Would someone please take it so I don't get myself into trouble!!! :winkin:  The asking price is good as well.

I think some FVI folks were asking for exactly this guitar (abalone purf, spruce top, etc...)!

If you're getting quilted hog....hold out for one with the MQ neck too.

I have one and love it.  The description is wrong on the listing however.  They reference mahogany in the title which is correct but describe it as Maple in the description.  03MQ is Quilted Mahogany and 03QM is Quilted Maple.

Shhhhhhhh.  I was planning on going down to the 12th Fret on Friday to give it a spin.  Nobody say anything till Monday please  :winkin:

:? Maybe I got out of the wrong side of the bed and feelin a lil contrary but often see better deals in our For Sale section here. It's a used 03 series showing some fret ware. Well worth it but I would be more excited  at the LV03 or the OMV-05 and others in our section over this one. MQ is nice tho

I looked at it and it is Quilted Maple, not quilted Mahogany as posted. :-(

How do you know it is maple?  Is the tag inside the guitar wrong?

The folks at The Twelth Fret mistakenly wrote maple.  Visually, it is certainly not maple and if you look at the photo showing the label, it clearly states "quilted mahogony".

Yes, they say it was labelled wrong but the wood looks just like mine. So, I say it is labelled correctly and whoever wrote the ad at 12thfret is wrong. Strange though. Must be a new guy! :-)

I emailed them and got a reply from Grant who insists that it is Maple and the guitar is labelled incorrectly.
