well, the guitar arrived today friends!
sitting at work and the fed-ex guy shows up nice and early!
waited a couple of hours before opening the box and guitar..although it was sooooooooo tempting to open it earlier.

the deluxe archtop case looks fantastic..a few scuffs on it, but that is expected.  the guitar fits inside like its custom made for it.
ive never had a guitar and case that feel so light.  feels like there is nothing in your hands other than the fact you know you have a handle in your hand.

took a week to get here and its perfectly in tune. took the oasis humidifier out and i'm amazed by how nice it sounds.

the only thing im not pleased with is the description of the guitar the 12th fret posted.. they said it had an undersaddle pickup installed.
the original endpin is there, nothing that would take a 1/4 cable. nothing in the accessory box other than the receipt and case keys.
this makes me unhappy and while i am so pleased with the guitar itself.
here's the advert.   http://www.12fret.com/content/2012/03/07/larrivee-om-03-mq-2007-consignment/

any ideas of what i should do friends? i know i need to contact the 12thfret and let them know there is no pickup here. any of you folks have a suggestion or two?

should i ask to have one sent to me no charge?  id still have to have it installed at my expense, but id have one.  return the guitar?

+1 Would be hesitant to sender back as you don't come across a MQ every day.

That's the best method I would think. Use honey! Any reputable dealer should take care of a mistake they made right away.  (Maybe there is a pickup, but the endpin is missing? Use a mirror to look inside.) If you have a choice, the K&K Pure Mini I just got in mine sounds pretty good. WAY better than an under saddle IMO.

good news friends.
i sent a photo of the end pin and received a nice email back from the fret apologising for the mistake and they offered to send, at no charge,
a b-band or lr baggs element saddle system, my choice.

this is wonderful customer service!
thank you 12th fret :)

im back to feeling wonderful again!

Awesome!  Glad you got that sorted out.  The original posting for that guitar was incorrect in so many ways
