Finally got a chance to record my new (to me) D10 Brazilian.  My daughter in law provided the beautful voice to the classic "Yesterday."  We did this in only one take, as rain was coming, so pardon any mistakes.  It is the first time I have heard my brazilian in a recording.  I am quite impressed, even outdoors with all the background noise.  Can't wait to try it under better conditions.

That would make me want to buy a Larrivee!       Nice playing and the voice is beautiful.  You have a lucky son.

I enjoyed this one as well. It looks like a D-05MT is being played. Her voice is very nice.

Danny,
The guitar in that video is an L05-MT.  They recorded that one in their living room.  We did "Yesterday" on a whim, outside in the wind.  Next time I go down to Pacific Grove where they live we'll record a couple songs inside with the D10.  The brazilian has a tone to it that is deep and soulful.  You can hear a little of it in the "Yesterday" video, but it is lost somewhat in the wind and traffic noise outside.

Wow - that one is a stunner!!!  bowdown  Makes me want to rush home to the studio and write, write, write all weekend long.

I was in Pacific Grove in September - it is indeed a beautiful place.

Very enjoyable, and in an unusual setting

Yes, the setting is the hills near my house by a reservoir.   The cows are free to graze up there.  We were surprised you can hear the traffic noise.  We were pretty high above them, but I guess sound travels.  Too bad it was a cloudy day, because we were overlooking San Francisco Bay.  That is the gray expanse you see in the background as the camera pans out.
