All lefty parts are now in, and guitars are being assembled right away!

Let me know if you have a lefty bakersfield on order, and I'll see if I can get a photo of it being assembled for you.

That's a great thing to do Matthew!  :thumb

I did a double take, too, until I read your post! So, no ... that's not mine. Sure looks sweet though; mine will be very similar; look at the two bodies in the pic below; the one Jean's holding looks like the one on the right (note the grain by the pickguard on the upper bout, and also the grain below the control plate - looks like a match!); so maybe mine will be the one on the left in the photo!

Lefty Tobacco

What a great picture and a great (family) company to deal with.

Matthew Thankyou so much for saving a man mind.I'm sure at this moment he is doing the "Snoopy" happy dance and his family is doing the "Woodstock"dance of joy as there husband and fathers is not balled up in the corner drooling, babbling and talking to his unseen invisable guitar. :cheers

I have a Mary Kay White on order w/ a Humbucker.  I also would like a extra pickguard loaded w/ a single coil if possible, do you have a price for pickguards? thanks Matthew. Best regards George :gotpics:

It is actually Mikeymacs guitar - We initially set them up using a generic pickguard/pickup. It allows us to drill all ofthe holes and place everything without scratching the customers actual pickguard/covers.

It will arrive with the Mini pickup.

Lefty tobacco??... sounds illicit to me. :beer

A: One more.

Mike You might want to get that picture printed off and save. The 2nd pickup and guard might soon be on a wish list :?

Congrats Mikey, great pic. - Jean and Matthew look pretty happy w/ it, you'll have to post a pic when you get it and then we can compare for widest grin -  :nice guitar:

Sweet! Thank you, Matthew, Jean and everyone at Larrivee!

@ Andrew: I already did save that picture...I've posted it on a couple other forums already as what my guitar will "almost" look like - now I know that's THE ONE!

I'm stoked - I LOVE the woodgrain on that body! Also fun to know mine's the first lefty Tobacco Burst outta the gate!

So, Matthew ... any idea when it will ship? And ... is this the first lefty out of the chute, or have there been a couple others (other finishes)?

Appreciate all you are doing for us lefties!

@ Anders451: Why would I want a 2nd pickguard - what I'll probably want is either a Butterscotch or a Transparent Red Tele with the standard pickup...  :thumb
