Arlo is still going strong, caught him before the show (also his wife Jackie). He took over 20 mins visiting with us, very down to earth, nice folks.

He and Judy Collins put on a great show, he was a tough act to follow. It was like an open mic, but he clearly was much more entertaining telling stories and playing a couple tunes by his dad Woody and Leadbelly as well as others. If you get a chance to catch him it is well worth the ticket.

Alice's is a 18+ min song, he didn't do it at this one , but, the only piano song was City of New Orleans. He pulled up 2 standing "O's" during his se and an encore of Amazing Grace with Judy Collins (accapella) that had the whole house singing.

I remember many moons ago hearing a song by him about xmas and santa claus.  Never heard it again, but it was long and funny.

I remember many moons ago hearing a song by him about xmas and santa claus.  Never heard it again, but it was long and funny.

It was called "The Pause of Mr. Claus" and involved another of his rambling monologues about how to make yourself temporarily important in the eyes of the authorities. Arlo's website has the lyrics here,
