Hi Folks,

I am a newbie and certainly glad to be here.

I'm definitely not a newbie when it comes to being a Larrivee fan.

I am the original owner of a C-09 from somewhere in the 95-97 era.

I guess the only real question I have would be to ask for info on why there is such a price differential between the first and second run C-09's?

I've done a couple searches and haven't been able to find anything...

Otherwise, I just look forward to hangin' out and enjoying the topic we love most!

oh, and here ya' go!  :donut :donut2 :donut :donut2

I'd join ya' for one but I only like buttermilk bars...

:welcome: Gerry  :thumb Thanks for the  :donut's

C-09  :nice guitar:    I have a 1995 CS-05 purchased from a forum member.  I love it.

No answer to any pricing as I will defer to the more price savvy.

Enjoy your stay and thanks for viewing the rules.  :winkin: :thumb
Steve ....aka the SMan

Thanks for the donuts.

Buttermilk bars?

And how about some pics of that axe of yours? :gotpics:

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Actually, I'm not really that interested in a price/value of my guitar as it doesn't matter: My C-09 is the cornerstone for my herd. It isn't going anywhere!  :thumb

I was just wondering what the differences in the build are between the old and the new to signify the huge price increase?

Pics! Yes, I have posted about the best one I currently have of mine. She is in company with a few of her friends in my collection.

Buttermilk Bars? I know you've seen'em probably know'em by another name. I'll see if I can find a pic.

:wave

The older ones were extremely underpriced BUT so atre the new ones thus mainly inflation I guess and simple economics - same guitar Friend

Welcome! I'm gonna hafta try me one of them buttermilk bars. Slobbered on my netbook just looking at it.

If anyone is interested in acquiring a C-09 or C-10, I stumbled across a few of them while looking for an L-09.

At this link, there's a C-09 c.1989, a C-09E 2000, and a C-10 c.1998.

Hi Gerry, nice looking family you have there.  :welcome:

That OM......a BEAUT

Hey Thanks!

It's a oversized OM design by Tony Karol. A small shop builder out of Mississauga, Ontario, Can.

I've had it 5-6 years, and like my C09, it's a fixture!

:welcome: cool guitars, thanks for the donuts.
