I already have an OM-15 from 2002 that I love, but a 00 version might be a nice addition. Has anyone here A/B'd the 00-15 next to the 000-15?

BTW, you can read about these customs here: http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197184

No, but for a while I was highly tempted to get one of the 00 guitars.   The specs are quite a bit nicer than the standard -15 series.
(I would probably rip off the pickguard first thing though  :laughin: )

I got the chance to A/B the Martin 00-15M and 000-15M back to back twice.

Funny thing was that I preferred the 00 at the first shop and the 000 at the other.  I did not find
a big difference between the 2 models.  The 000 was louder and deeper than the 00.  The 00 was more focused than the 000.
I would say that these differences were in the 5-10% range.  They all sounded great to me.

I think the bone nut and saddle and the upgraded tuners are nice also.

To me the big upgrades are the binding and the rosette.  After all, those are a lot harder to change out yourself.  :bgrin:
