A while back, I received a youtube video of a folk singer singing about the problems of age and the havoc it causes with your memory. I'm thinking it may have been Tom Paxton. The song was clever and well done and hit home to a lot of us. To prove it, I've forgotten it and even who sings it.    :rolleye:

The song started out by talking about a luncheon date and he doesn't know who or where.

Does this sound familiar to anyone (the song, not the forgetting)?

Sounds like "Remember" by Steven Walters. Here is Tom Rush singing it

If you like it, you may want to check out Tom Rush's "Trolling for Owls" album.

Not sure but sounds like a new song. Trying to remember a song about not being able to remember. :laughin:
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.

I heard a version by Tom Rush a while back on the XM folk station  that might be the one you're looking for.
