Heard a couple of tunes from Plant's new album "Band of Joy"...not bad at all.  He's got some stellar guitar/mando backing.  Love the tune "Angel Dance".
I know he's not a guitar artist, but I need to enhance my "Tuffy index" number..... :roll

I've been enjoying this too. That's Darrell Scott on mando and stuff, Walkerman. You might like his  new double CD, Crooked Road. If you can put up with the knee jerk leftiness of it all, that is.

Buddy Miller is the great guitarist and all of Buddy and Julie Miller's stuff is fabulous. The American Richard and Linda Thompson!

Yes.
A few weeks ago I was in a bookstore and heard this music playing while digging through the bookshelves trying to figure out what to spend my gift certificate on.  It was the Band of Joy CD and it really caught my attention.  I don't own anything else by Plant but I left the store with that CD.  It was the guitar/mando backing that did it for me too.   :+1:

Sorry, and I love some of Plant's work in the past but apart from the odd track he is past his sell by date IMO.
