Will the person in charge of the RS4 meter please turn the dial one full step to the right. There's another one out there.

Hello Everyone,

I just started learning to play in August so this is my first electric. I figured finding a guitar I never want to put down wouldn't be a bad approach. The RS4 just has that Porsche lushness to it. I held it, I looked at it, I strummed it and I bought it. What the heck right?

Here's a few pictures:

I'll take some better photos when I can upload.

Nice to be here with you all!

Welcome, Walt. What a nice way to go electric ... might say you are cookin' with GAS!

As a first time poster you might want to include some cartoon donuts with your posting, it is a forum initiation rite.

Thank you all for the welcome. I'm really looking forward to learning my way around this beautiful instrument.

Joyce, I'm already wondering what color P90 I should get. I love the Charcoal as well as the Amber. My God...I must stop myself!

Welcome, Walt - and let me say, you got yourself a nice one there!  bowdown

If your guitar composition skills become as good as your photography skills, you'll be making some beautiful music on that guitar!

Make yourself at home and pull up a stool - we have a lot of fun in the looney bin here!  welcome

Walt,

Don't mind Mac ... everytime he sees another gorgeous Larrivee, I swear he goes off his meds, and at that point you just have to stand back till he's finished ranting and raving...

...just kidding, Mac!!!

Welcome Walt.

Beautiful guitar.  I'm determined to get one of those sooner than later.  I may have to trade or sell a few of my current electrics to make it happen.  Good luck on your guitar learning, too.  If that RS-4 doesn't inspire you, nothing will, I reckon.

Hi Mac,

I love the burst myself. The top looks different as the lighting varies which is pretty cool. Amazing paint and finish work on the RS4.

Here are a couple of other shots:

I think the Goldtop is awesome looking by the way!

Mikey,

I'm thinking I might require medication myself. However I prefer not to mask the underlying issue. With that in mind, I believe buying a used car and 3 or 4 more RS4's is a more permanent solution. At least temporarily. I mean, who needs a car payment when you can have a guitar payment instead.

Kurt,

Thank you! No doubt the RS4 inspires. I hope to make it proud some day. Good luck getting one yourself!

Hey Rev,

I'm always up for some "HUMOR" to give me some relief from my "SEVERE CASE OF G.A.S." that
I have for "GIT-FIDDLES & AMPS"! Thanks!

Walt my friend you got yourself "ONE HECK OF A KILLER FLAME" going on that MAPLE
TOP on your AMBERBURST RS-4! SWEEEEETT!

Enjoy!

Must say that is a very creative photo you just posted.

In fact I liked it so much that (hope you don't mind) I downloaded the color image and made it my laptop desktop wallpaper.  bowdown

OT...the title of your thread made me think of this......

Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you're leaving me.

Now don't I let you wash the car on Sunday?
Don't I warn you when you're gettin fat?
Ain't I a-gonna take you fishin' with me someday?
Well, a man can't love a woman more than that.
Ain't I always nice to your kid sister?
Don't I take her driving every night?
So, sit here at my feet 'cos I like you when you're sweet,
And you know it ain't feminine to fight.

They just don't write em like they used to
