dgrose I'd kill for that much space!!!Are you going to soundproof it?

Rob, The space used to house the Daycare that my girlfriend runs, but she found that carrying 2-year olds up the stairs was killing her. So...we built a 20' x 20' addition and moved the daycare up there.

I got the "old space".
The music room is already very insulated and I like the sound as-is, so I won't add anything more unless I find a real need for it.

DG didn't know that ituse to be a daycare.I would suggest that you get some area rugs for the wood floor if you start noticing bunch back from the floor.

Ya Scott you started it.

After over a year of work, my space has finally started to take shape. The upstairs has a large "clean" room for jamming with friends (and possibly recording), then outside that a loft area with my workbenches for hand-tool work and such, and downstairs is the machine space and general storage.

No guitars are out as I took these while we were loading a variety of borrowed equipment in to patch together a sound system/recording rig for an event I am promoting tonight. I'll try to get a few when I have folks over and all the guitar hangers I have attached to the beams are full.

As soon as the last of the major construction is completed and the equipment is set-up, my first project is going to be a kit guitar! Yay!

Not in my home - its a small warehouse that used to the the back of my old hardware store. The neighborhood has changed, and now all the space in front has turned to "boo-teeks", and none of them need storage space or loading docks, so I decided to keep this space for myself and get all my toys in one place. I hope once our boys  are grown and gone, we'll be able to move into a much smaller house, and I'll keep this space as my "man cave" - or at least my "dog house" -

Hello Friends need a huge favor:

A Forum member nicely alerted me that one of these Sound Seats just popped up for sale at the AGF Forum:

http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196919

My problem is I am not a member. Tried to join today but it ( my application) is under "administrative review" and could take days. Thus I cannot PM nor post my interest. Could a Larivee Forumite who is also an experienced AGF member PM the seller TaylorCC and have e-mail me at ac_joyce_ca@hotmail dot com ( in my profile)

I will purchase from him if I can get in touch with him. Hope this isn't to wierd of a request
