Was thumbing through my new copy of Sunset Magazine (Oct. 2010) when I got to page 82 I noticed something a little familiar in the background.   Looks like a D-09 ?    Obviously this man has good taste !

Looks like one of the plainer dreads from the days before Larrivee made its guitars resemble Martins. It's got the plain headstock--may be silver or pearl lnlay, can't tell from here. Looks like an unadorned fretboard, too. But it looks like the nice inlaid classical rosette. My 90s D-50 looked like this, with a silver inlaid headstock but no artwork and no markers on fretboard (until I added a pickguard). I like the Martin-looking Larrivees, but those were certainly more distinctive.

Saw this while sitting in a doctor's office waiting room. Had to rip it out and scan it.

Wow, that is one beautiful guitar!

It looks like he's got you beat Tuffy!

If they are any real Larrivee players, they must be on this forum somewhere......hellooooo

I think the parlor in the pic has all of us beat.  The guitar looks pretty comfortable.
