I did go...and took a look at the Larrivee lineup.  They looked great. I didn't play any though...don't really have a strong desire for an electric right now. But they sure did look pretty. And there were more models than I expected to see.

There was a Goodsell amp to demo through...but with the volume in this room I doubt I could have heard what any of the guitars sounded like.....

I did make a couple buys though...the guys in the Larrivee booth were selling "V Picks". I like them so I bought another. I got upset yesterday 'cause I thought I lost the one I had...so I now I have a backup.

And Mr. B's Bottleneck Slides was also at the show so I bought a colbalt blue bottlneck slide to give a test drive....

It was a good show but 90% of it was aimed at 'ectric players. I would have liked it even more about ten years ago....

Beautiful guitars.  I have not been lucky enough to play a Larrivee electric yet.  I hope I get the chance soon.

Hey Gary!  Did you go on Sun.  I couldn't go on Sun but went Sat morning, also got the Larrivee V pic, I like it a lot but since it's clear...it won't be long before it's lost!  The gray guitar all the way to the right was absolutely the prettiest one in person.  I'm like you, not much interest in electric but of all the guitars there...those Larrivees looked the nicest and looked to be the highest in quality.  Those guys say that the electric market has been a great source of growth for them, probably one of the reasons Larrivee has been able to weather this economy.  I was disappointed with the slide selection, there were no metal or brass.  I do have couple ceramics at home and I like them but brass is my favorite.
