Tommy's my favourite guitarist. When I saw him in concert, I left with face ache: from smiling too much. Seriously...

Flatpicking, Hybrid picking, fingerstyle, Blues, Jazz etc - you name it, he's done it. People can dislike him, of course they can, but there's no denying he's simply one of the best players out there today.
Along with that, he's also a decent guy. I was lucky enough to meet him, and he's genuinely one of the nicest people i've ever met. He cares about his fans which is nice-
