LARRIVEE RS-2!BAD-2-THE BONE!

Okay everyone,

I am sure their were some people wondering what happened to me on
posting a "REVIEW with PICS" on my AMBER RS-2! Well I unfortunately
incurred some "SHIPPING DAMAGE" on my RS-2 between (Jerry's
Guitars-Sarasota,FL and Tuscaloosa,AL) as well as some paint issues
from the extreme heat/humidity!

The main thing was the RS-2 had damaged volume and tone control
pots (Neck Tone control & Bridge Volume control)!I called Matthew
and he was pretty much "STUNNED" and said that something had
most definitely happened to the guitar in shipping! He said to ship
the RS-2 back and that he and the "ELECTRIC CREW" would all make
it "TOP PRIORITY" to get me another AMBER RS-2 built in about 2-1/2
weeks! Well it is "IRREFUTABLE" that "MATT & CREW" made good
on his promise of building me another RS-2 that would equal or rival
my RS-4!

Matt told me that Larrivee has a new paint "VENDOR" for the electrics and I guess
the acoustics as well! This new AMBER is the nicest color I have ever seen on any
"TRANSLUCENT SOLID FINISH"! It is GORGEOUS!

People let me tell you that Matthew Larrivee has raised the bar a few notches
on BOUTIQUE HB's and P-90's! I will put the Larrivee P-90's up against any other
P-90 on the market! They are amazing!

I now have what I consider to be "2 of the Finest" electrics I have ever owned in
my 35 plus years of playing guitar! A big thumbs up   for Matt and the rest
of the electric crew for building me one "HECK OF GREAT" guitar!

I will post some "HIGH RESOLUTION" pics later this weekend for everyone to see!

I will get some for sure tomorrow! Matt has some "SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT MAHOGANY" that he used
on my RS-2! I think  this guitar might only weigh about  6-1/2 pounds! It is super "RESONANT"!!

My Bad REV,

The heat has been nothing less than "BRUTAL" here and I really wanted to take a few
outside pics to really show off the NEW AMBER finish since Matthew and Larrivee have
a new PAINT VENDOR that they are using due to the old VENDOR going out of business!

I will get some up before the day is over for everyone!

Here they are PEEPS!

These were all taken with my BB STORM which has a pretty decent 3.5 megapixel camera
with flash! This guitar might weigh 6-1/2 pounds! Matthew had some "VERY LIGHTWEIGHT"
mahogany stuck back that he used for me on this "SWEET RS-2"!

It plays and sounds so good it is "RIDICULOUS"!

Mike,

Jerry told me he was putting in on order for more RS-2's and I am
sure he will get at least one in the AMBER!

Shucks It won't bother me at all if you snag you one of the AMBER
RS-2's like mine!

As much as I love my RS-4 I might even like my RS-2 the best!

It is definitely a "TOSS-UP" for sure! They are my 2 al time favorite
electrics for sure!

I wonder if Larrivee would consider doing an RS-2/03 - with a satin finish instead of gloss. Seems like it would be very appropriate on this guitar.  I'll have to check with Matthew on that...if I could get one of those, I'll probably order it through my local dealer, just to support local businesses...

Edited to add: They already do the neck with a satin finish, right? So doing the whole guitar that way wouldn't be a big deal.
