I had a very short opportunity to try my new EDB-1 yesterday through my Bose L1 Model 1. Did not have time to plug in a mic, just my K&K into channel 1. Had everything set flat. I was amazed. Only got to use it for 2-3 minutes for sound check using my guitar, then the musician I was doing sound for came and did not need it as he had Fishman with on-board preamp/EQ.

Completely flat it sounded every bit as good as my K&K Pure XLR, and maybe even a little better.

Can't wait to try it again on June 16. I'll be trying it with a cheapo condenser mic at a three hour show. I'll report back again after that. I think I'm really going to like this box.

I ordered a Sansamp Para Driver DI last week and am waiting with baited breath, as they say. Not quite as expensive as the EDB-1.  I'll be interested in hearing your follow up reports.
