On the verge of ordering a Tonerite if for no other reason than curiosity.  Read about them here and at AGF.  

Doing a little searching on the net revealed an interesting post over at flatpickerhangout.com where someone asks a question about Tonerite.  In the responses, there's the mention of a book: How to Improve the Resonance Conditions of Musical Instruments by Vibration Dedamping by v. Reumont.  Doing even more searching on that title leads you to a number of discussions of that book across many string-areas (violins, cellos, basses, mandolins, etc.)

While I am not really up for the homebrewed Tonerite, it sounds like an interesting book.  Just wondering if anyone here has read it.
