So I'm working on this Stew-Mac Uke kit and was wondering about sanding technique prior and during finishing.

Does it matter if you sand with the grain or in circular patterns prior to the finish application?

And during finishing layers and wet sanding, does it matter the sanding pattern?

Thanks and cheers!

The bare wood should be sanded with the grain after that a circular pattern on the finish using the wet sanding paper.Make sure you use a sealer first before layering on finish.
