Anyone following my bouncing ball knows about my student turned partner Angie. We are now Wild Honey and have been playing out a couple months with one long term every other week gig
plus other nice ones. She's gotten us in with city arts councils and such and private party's. Anyway we're having a blast and again I've lucked into a really easy person to work with. Love having a good singer and working on harmony and chance to be a guitar player more with the singing load shared. Yea.
I debated about where to put this thread. I put it in Larrivee Guitars because once again, even for this more folky and country deal, The old L-10 wins out over the Gallagher for gigs..  30 years now. Not only beautiful and great sounding, but a real work horse. No major work other than multiple frets. Non adjustable neck still plays great with pretty low action. It's lived around the country and in the Carrebean and just keeps delivering the goods.

I'll record us before too long. It'd be easy to do right out of mixer.   Yes to harp holder but it's old too, real old. I found it in 79'! It's actually older than guitar. Since you asked about it...
I found it in an old hardware store in Dalton GA. It was old then cause I found it, only one, stuck in some wierd place all dusty and with a price tag of 3 dollars. I never liked the bulkiness of standard ones and jumped on it.  Quite some time later I saw one in a catalog and being that I hadn't seen one like mine since I bought it, I got another for backup. Not only is it not as bulky, but it has 2 places to adjust angle. Down on neck and also in middle of bar coming up.  Harmonica is actually first thing I played including playing in a blues/rock band in early teens.
Well she's playing a Big Baby for now. I have to admit it doesn't sound bad for what she does but I'm working on her to upgrade. I put western mini's in it and again, surprising, and loud.
If I hadn't sold my old Hummingbird, I would have sold it to her at a good price. It would have matched her well, plus her idol is Emmylou.

Well we are good friends. Our respective spouses are cool, but I don't think we'll push it by using the words "soul mates" shhh :humour:

Looks like you're having fun!  I was just at the local box store the other day and played all of their axes (martins, taks and taylors) and I really like the Big Baby the most!  Great guitar for the price and with K & K I'm sure the out sound is great.   :donut :donut2
