Just curious about what other stuff you all have... :beer

Let's have some fun..ALL stringed instruments...not just guitars.

Good idea! I love to look at guitars. Where does one start, though? How 'bout here.

The only other one that the kids didn't get as they left the nest is my ole '73 Granada, great gal though, been through a lot together  :winkin:

This is my old beat up 1947 Gibson ES-300 that I got when I was like 15 or so. I basically played it as my sole guitar for over 20 years till it dawned on me to get something smaller. It's got a nice wide and thick neck which helped me evolve to the fingerplaying I do now but it's got no tone since the wood is 1/4" plywood  :winkin: I don't play it much except I was recently inspired by Denis's "Samuel" to retune it and try figuring it out. It's too cool to me to keep it hidden away in the case so I leave it out on display in the TV room.

The mighty Guild...  Ok maybe not so mighty, but it's a 12-string, and it's Pre-Fender.

My Tacoma Roadking.  I really like this guitar, great strummer, but also sounds outstanding tuned to DADGAD or DADGBD. Also Pre-Fender.

My first Steel string. Alvarez F-hole.  (Alvarez has never been owned or destroyed by the Fender Instruments Co.)

My "Hi my name is Mark and I own a Chinese plywood Guitar" guitar.  It's a Tacoma copy that Fender had made by the Chinese while they were busy destroying the Tacoma brand.  I bought it because it was very affordable ($200) and had on-board electronics, which makes it a great gigging or flying guitar.  In other words, if United breaks this Guitar I won't cry about it.  I'm always super nervous flying with my Larrivees.

That's an '82  (83??).  And yes...the Dotneck moniker came along when the interwebs guitar forums were just getting going and the ES-335 was my #1.....

Now I'm more of a flat-top on the couch kind of guy...can't remember the last time I plugged in to my '64 Princeton Reverb...

Bunch of Larrivees - all good -
and a wife that still puts up with me, which is the best -

The two sisters
(a NRP Model 97 Tricone and a NRP M1 Wooden Tricone)

The ladder braced three
(a 1930's ToneKing made by Stella ladderbraced 12 fret, in the middle an undetermined water damaged ladder with a trout etched on the back of the upper bout and water damage all over the lower bout, a late 1930's Kalamazoo 12-fret KHG-14 ladder braced converted to a flat top all three are probably the last of their kind, sound great and all have relatively flat tops)

Missing
1940's Gretsch New Yorker
Taylor 355

Did even think about the electrics.
The Dude abides.

Nice gits!

My Eastman AC510 (sort of the Chinese Larrivee  :laughin:)

And my latest.   CA (now defunct) OX High Gloss.

Gits: 2004 P-01K, 2005 OM-03MT
Uke: Kala KA-ASKS with Larrivee Flamed Koa
Chops: fingerstyle noob
