Why are many members designated as Ignore?

Why are so many members designated as Ignore when I read posts?  I have not put anyone on an ignore list.  I am too new and such a beginner guitar enthusiast that I can't afford to ignore anyone :bgrin:. :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut :donut2 :donut2

welcome to the forum.    Perhaps you are mis-interpreting something.    When you read a post do you see the word "ignore" on the left side directly under the post count ?   If that's what you are referring to, it is just there so you can click it to ignore that poster in the future.  It's not a reference to them being ig nored by you or anyone else at this moment.   If they were truly on your "ignored" list you wouldn't be seeing the post to begin with.

or was this a joke ?

Dave being ignored has become a badge of honour for me,I got 3 people ignoring me :wave.

I've never seen the word ignore on a post, am I missing something?

If you are using the Babylon theme, the ignore link that the others have mentioned is not visible. I haven't checked all the themes. I only know this because I am using the Babylon them. (gray with silver-blue horizontal bars here and there).

Two pictures follow.
One is your post above as I see it with the Babylon theme and then your  post in the Outline Theme (that appears to be being used by most members)

ST you are good at this computer stuff.

I've been ignored by 2 members fairly recently. Now it's back to 1 and it is an easy guess to figure out who that is.
I don't ignore anyone, though maybe I should since sometimes I can't seem to stay out of a fruckus.

As usual you have explained with the utmost clarity.   What would we do without you ? :cheers

Be confused and wonder around aimlessly?

Yes, that's why it's called "Babble-On". You shall not be ignored.

ST, great info. I have been using Babylon since day one, it just seems like home.   :coffee  :donut2
