And that's a G chord he is playing.Wonder what the humidity is like inside the space station?

Who will takes odds on 45% RH? :humour:  After all, that may be the most important piece of equipment on the whole project!

Look at the bridge.  It has a straight bridge.  Only the Parlors and 00 size have the straight bridge, bigger guitars have the Martin style bridge.
It's an early series Parlor.
There is no end pin either. Does a P-01 come that way?

The one I saw recently at LA guitar Sales never had an end pin.

Yes, but so did other Larrivees from the same era.   My late-90's L-05 has no end pin.

But this one is clearly a P-01.   Only the -01 series had no binding, and I'm pretty sure that the P-01 was the only -01 series with 12 frets.

They keep it up around 65-70% if I recall correctly.  High humidity keeps down static electricity, which is something you want to avoid inside what is basically a giant floating box of electronics folks are living in.

I was just listening to the radio and the topic of the Canadian-made guitar in the space station came up.  Chris Hadfield will be in charge of the space station in 2013 and he's looking forward to the weightless jamming.

Well it's a two way battle of losses. To dry and a charge is built easily, but to damp and most metals (ie, Al) will produce a metal oxide layer which attracts water molecules. And you all know ... water + electronics = boom.

Just as wood is something that needs to be maintained in a fair RH range, so does electronics - and more so. During my last robotics competition, the 85% RH seems to show us

    Yup

It's an 01 parlor, right?  No binding?  I'd love to be there to play it!!!

I'd like to be there to hear it. I wonder how 0 gravitaion affects sound waves, if at all.
