Has anyone played or owned the C09 reissue?  I am wondering if it is voiced like the JCL reissue.  It looks just like the JCL only with the florentine cutaway.  Specifically, I am curious if there is a noticeable difference in tone and volume because of the cutaway. They are pretty hard to find and I sure don't want to order one without playing first.

If you're talking about the JCL 40th anniversary model, it also has a florentine cutaway...

I'd love to "hear" more about these, too, since I'd consider them the next best thing to the 40th anniversary model.

Mike,  I have a JCL 40th Anniversary model.  They do not have a cutaway.  The CO9 has the florentine cutaway.  It also has the same vintage old style rossette as my JCL.  So I am wondering if they have the same sound.

Hey Mike,

I just checked out your blogspot.  Good stuff!  I read down to your Christmas blog about Simeon.  Did you ever hear Michael Card's song "Now that I've held Him in my Arms"?  It's a great song about Simeon, and hope fulfilled.  I just played it in a Christmas concert.  You can probably find it on youtube.
