Youngstown arrangement

I remember when The Ghost of Tom Joad came out and thinking Bruce had found his voice again. Songs like Youngstown, Straight Time, and the title track gave voice to what I saw when I graduated high school in the mid-eighties and went to work in the industries in our area. Bethlehem and US Steel were already gone in my area by the time I was 18 and started working. I went to work in the oil refineries and chemical plants and watched as those industries died as well.

This is my less than delicate version of a delicate, refined, and beautiful song by the Boss. It's my arrangement,warts, turds and all......
