no- not me in glades.
I've had the TP-30 a year or so -
there were some posts where I commented on it - it is a good value - sounds more expensive that it its.

Hey Larry!
Boy, it would be great to get you to do reviews on all the guitars I'm interested in here in "dark" Africa.    You address the "players-queries" spot on - the very info I like to know about - not the "what would you like me to write" approach of many a guitar mag - journalist who I'm sure cash in on special prices from builders.  whistling
I particularly fancy the ROS-06 model,  http://www.recordingking.com/guitars_ros06.html  and the Nick Lucas model has my interest, except for the (deal-breaker) 1 11/16" width at the nut.
Your model looks particularly nice too.  +1

thanks Zohn -
sorry, the ROS-627 is the only Recording King I've evaluated.

Maybe I should apply for a job as a professional guitar reviewer  drool
now that would be a cool gig  bigrin

Right now Im so happy with my ROS-627 that all GAS is gone.
My classical sits unused most of the time.

I'm even getting used to the custom work done on the neck to smooth down the mod-v profile.
At first I noticed it but now when I play I don't even think about it.

I took a chance that it would be smoothed down enough for me to be happy with it and adapt to it.
My backup plan was to sell it if I could not get used to the    mod-mod-V profile.

My perfect neck is what is on my classical Pavan TP-30 -
It is thinner than the ROS 627 and I would describe its profile as a low oval - although I don't know what it is officially.

Even my former GAS for a Collings or Martin is gone.
I like it better than the Martin OOO-28VS or OO-28VS models I played
and better than the model 21 or the Eric Clapton model

yes, it comes with a top of the line Guardian case with a built in hydrometer.

I am planning to post it for sale but have not got around to it yet.
Send me a personal message or an email  (just click on one of those options)
and I'll give you a price.....probably about 20% off what I paid for it.
It is mint - bought new, played about 6 weeks at home, then stayed in case after I bought my Larrivee 000-60.

Very nice guitar!  I read some but all posts here, and couldn't find: what is the string spacing at the saddle?

Sorry if I missed it.

Thanks!

Recording King is building a solid reputation of solid quality and reasonable price.  I just bought a Jubilee Series RNJ-25 (solid spruce and solid maple).  It is very comfortable to play.

ok, i took a ruler and measured my ros-627 it is 2 5/16  - great for finger style
( I'm not sure what the 'official' spacing is).

they are excellent guitars and used ones are not that easy to find.

Hey Larry, why does your signature say the RK is "for sale".  Am I missing something?

notice also a NEW entry in my signature.......the Larrivee 000-60  bigrin

About 6 weeks AFTER I bought the new Recording King....
a guitar I had been interested in for 2 years (but never had a chance to try one) showed up in my life - the Larrivee 000-60.
It was 'love at first touch'....my Recording King ROS-627 has been in the case ever since.

I plan to post an official   ' for sale '    topic but just have not gotten around to it yet.
