GAS is a terrible thing.  There is no cure (other than abject poverty), so you just have to put up with it.

So around 2 o'clock I realized that I had a beautiful overcast day (indirect lighting).  I also realized that I don't have pictures of most of my guitars. So I set up a stand and tripod and went to work.

And since sharing guitar pics is never off-topic...
(If I did this right these will be clickable thumbnails)

My Main Guitar, Larrivee OM-03RE, built and purchased in 1998.  Engleman top.  Note how white the top is even though it's 12 years old.

One of the first 500 Parlor Guitars with the 1 11/16" neck.  If I'd known they were going to change I'd have waited.  Sitka/Mahogony

The Larrivee 12.  D-03R-12

Along with the much benighted Ping Minis.

Mrs. AZLiberty's OM-03. Spruce/Mahogany.  Might be Englemann but I think it's Sitka.

The non-Larrivees:

The Mighty Guild D-4-12. Pre-Fender. Made in Westerly RI. (I love the John Pearce Armrest BTW)

Tacoma Roadking (Pre Fender) A remarkably responsive Dread.  Sounds simply unbelievable when tuned to DADGAD.

My First travel Guitar.  A sad and lonely thing.  The Parlor is simply so much better that the Taylor never gets played.

My first Steel String.  Not a great guitar, but still sounds good. (not Larrivee Good of course)  The sun came out at this point, so I had to change angles to avoid reflections, but the sulight really brought out the tobacco-burst.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

AZ Liberty,

Very hip. My main guitar is my newly-obtained OM-03MT, so I dig your OM.

I also used to play a Tacoma Roadking, which I really should have held onto even though it was too big for me to play sitting down. Those ARE great dreds, and I recorded quite a bit with mine. VERY crisp sounding via the LR Baggs unit I had in mine ...

Hi AZLiberty,

Thank you for taking the time to compose this great post. That was a lot of fun.

(Wow - I've got to learn how to take photos of guitars).

Hi AZLiberty,
(Wow - I've got to learn how to take photos of guitars).

Taking photos is harder than it sounds. It's 90% about getting the right lighting. To get nice details, you need diffuse light, to get good color, you need higher illumination.   The guys who can consistently take good photos usually have some fairly bright portable lights and diffusers.

ST,

By your sig, you have got some real winners!
