Here's one from George Harrison that I use a lot in the olds,"Tell me what you want me to play and I'll play it,tell me what you don't want me to play and I won't".I'm not sure if I got it word for word but it came from the Let it be sessions and my VCR{remember them} doesn't work very good anymore. :nana_guitar

Yea, Do I remember right that it included the Yoko factor? Was it McCartney that kept telling him exactly how to play the song when he finally spurted that out?

That's a classic scene. Harrison has had enough of Paulie's leadership. He was actually the first to threaten to quit the band, I believe. I suppose he was saying, this is no longer much fun.

I'm not sure Yoko had much to do.

Her job was to squeak and irritate.

It's always positive to be good at your job. So many people are rubbish at what they do. She was a real pioneer in her field.

I don't care what anyone says, that is FUNNY!

My ragged haired old hippie brother worked at a place where they listened to Rush Limbough every day 10 years ago or so. He pleaded with them that he shouldn't have to listen. Didn't work.
He found a solo CD by Yoko and grinned. The sales lady gave him a funny look and said "are you sure about that?" He smiled and said yes. He took it to work and played about 30 seconds of it
til the Rushians were pleading. No more problem after that. He never had to play it again, just left it sitting by his CD player.

Harrison walked out at one point and Lennon just turned round and said "Shall I call Eric?"
If it sounds good, it is good.

Pulled out one of my old records and found this quote in the liner notes. Brings back old memories.

"In the sense that my guitars were once plants, this record's a greenhouse." Leo Kottke's liner notes from his fifth album "Greenhouse" recorded in 1973.
