This may not be what you meant, but I thought I'd offer my understanding of what's going on with the pics.

This seller has his own html formatted description in the body of his post, so he can write in links to pictures he has parked on his own server or various third party sites that hosts pics for eBay. (You can find out by right clicking the pic and saving the pic's link) That way he puts up one free picture on eBay's site and as many mondo huge pics of his own that he wants. Doesn't affect eBay's bandwidth, I don't think, but I'm sure knowing eBay they'll eventually figure a way  to clamp down on people doing this. . .

FWIW, I don't mind all the pictures though. It removes all doubt AFAIC.
