Oh undoubtedly you bought the right stage guitar (the Martin).
Unless the stage is 2 kilometres wide, and you're the only one performing and with 2 bodyguards...

Great Looking Guitar. Now, how does it sound and play?

I didn't understand at first but now I can understand the reluctance to take those two Larrivees on stage.

Hello Folks,

i hope you don´t killing me  bowdown - but my 2 Larry´s become a big brother: Today i ordered a new Martin HD-35.

We have more gigs now and i don´t want to use my Larrivee´s on stage because i´m afraid about dings, scratches etc. Only when we have maybe "big" and for the guitar more "secure" gigs in the future the larrivees will be used on stage too  whistling
.
The Martin will be used as loud and bassy guitar on every gig we have and has to all the work  bigrin

I hope you understand this,

Greg

Yes, the Martin just helped to save the Larrivee's!
I don't know how the Martin HD-35 sounds that i have ordered. But when she arrived i can post pics-but i don't know is there somebody interested to see pics of a Martin here?!

Greg
nah, we don't want to see know pics of the oldest guitar company in North America making an outstanding guitar. Why on earth would we want to see that whistling

I like D-35's as well, wouldn't mind having one someday. My FAVORITE D-35 is the Johnny Cash model, but it lists for over $5K !!!

We still need a full review of playability and tone!!!   drool

The house in that i live (a apartment in the house) is old and now the house must be completly rebuild (it´s not in good condition anymore). For this time (ca. 6 years) i must live in another apartment in another house. This apartment is new but completly empty. So i need much money for all the things (kitchen, bed, chairs etc.) because i can´t live just in empty rooms  rolleye. And that´s the point that i´m thinking to sell the new Martin maybe...

Man, that sucks. I hate to see such bouts of anti-GAS. Hopefully you won't have to take such drastic measures.

LOL! I'm glad we understand each other. I've known people who've lived on raman noodles all through college just so they could afford a nice stage guitar. Why should this be any different? ;)

Personally, I'd be embezzling grocery money from my wife if I didn't have kids to feed!  wacko
