Hi Ben, thanks for information.
How did you know the next transporter?

guessed, lol. Parcelforce here is the royal mail's large package people, and all the other companies are privately operated, so it was a safe guess.  Are there a few in Germany. Using a bit of logic, I think that USPS are unlikely to link up with any small companies, so start with the biggest and work down.

Did you use the same tracking number with parcelforce and usps?

You can type in your USPS tracking number on the Parcelforce website. Parcelforce generates their own tracking number which you will see when the resulting information loads.

Here's the MT family: P-05MT, 00-03MT @ Center Stage & L-05 @ right

I cannot find the seam in the back at all but I have 57 year old eyes.
Nice medullary rays on the top, quite pronounced in the upper bout.
Significant striping in the ebony bridge. I know some people don't care for this. I could dye it but I rather like it.
Surprising volume. Very clean, clear sound. Nice bass response and excellent sustain. I let my Larrivee 00-60 go last year & I have missed it, but this makes it a lot easier now.
I am pleased with this setup as is.
Special thanks to John L in Vavcouver, and Jim & Bill , Kathy @ Trinity and of course Danny who made this happen.
OK, I have much work to do now.
Later you all...

:nice guitar:
Very nice Mark, love the striping in the bridge.  Quite a size difference from the parlor. BTW, that parlor sure is nice.

Someone else mentioned the fretwork on these - that was another thing I noticed right away - the fretwork on these is A-1 perfect.

Continuing to enjoy the ride, but haven't found the right strings yet...developing.

I started following this thread after the cutoff, so I missed my chance.

Congratulations to the lucky 29 who got in on this deal.  Sounds and looks like an amazing guitar.

If there are any "extras" around or if anyone has had a change of heart, I would be interested :-)

Don't shoot! But I gotta tell ya that L05 is one gorgeous guitar. I know this is a special build thread but man, it is a stunner.

For me, it's that P-05MT...

Queequeg, it's too bad you're not much of a mahogany fan

VERY nice!   Drop D tuning?  DADGAD?

I think you just increased the resale value of the F-IV!   :humour:
Play it daily for best results.

Finally got around to taking some pics. Man, do I have to get a new camera. Plus, too much coffee today? :?
The lighting isn't the best today, but decided to take a few anyway. This is one sweet guitar. Bottom line. Haven't decided if I'm putting a pickguard on yet, but have both. Was thinking of black, but the wood IS just too nice to hide. My new EJ-16s that Jim set the guitar up with are settling in nice now. Wonderful things come out of this guitar! The coloring is more uniform than it appears due to the lighting, but it's the sound that is the thing with this! :nana_guitar

My "Three Amigos" (sorry, the one is blurred). The three HOGS! So sweet!
Will be starting a thread on the Podium Special soon. Needs a string change, which I normally do first, but have been too busy playing the F-IV!

DADGAD, love that tuning.

I'm pretty sure I won't ever sell this guitar...

Never say never!  But seriously, I'll be playing nothing but this guitar for some time to come!!  Or at least until the FIII comes back after a set up?

BTW, loved the song. Also thought the duo with Alana was great, any chance of you being on TV together?   :beer

I might try to get us back on that TV show I was on back in February...come to think it, I should really email the host...

Denis, didn't mean to interrupt your compliments. Nice song. Checked out a couple with Alana also. Nice vocals too. What bad thing can one say about a person with so much talent? :+1:
