I don't think it matters to them but I'll have the wife and child check first. :thumb

Answer one of the following questions:

My Larrivee guitars are great guitars."

--OR--

"My Larrivee is actually 4 Larrivees

--OR--

"My Larrivee is like all the other Larrivees, more or less."
"Badges?  We don't need no stinkin' badges."

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

My Larrivee fits me perfectly.  (OO-05)
My Larrivee has too many frets to the body. (OM-03R)
Who knew I would be a 12 fret aficionado?

The OO-05 will be the last guitar standing in my house if I ever get down to one.

Getting to close to the bottom

Starting to wonder how many 50 and 60 series came to Australia. I've only ever seen a new OM-50TSB in a local shop once, a second hand D-60, and two 000-50's at different times, although I suspect this was actually the same guitar being resold. Starting to wonder if I'll ever track down a 00-50 or 60....   :crying:

Cheers, Scott.

My Larrivee deserves a better guitarist than me... But it's mine! (cue maniacal laughter)

Can't let this fall off the front page...

...so, tell the truth - what year did YOU graduate from High School? (Since it's graduation time in most parts of the country...)

For me, it was the Bicentennial year - 1976.

BONUS QUESTION: If you played guitar at the time, what was your #1 guitar?

Mike was a righty Alvarez dreadnaught flipped over and played lefty. (Later sold it to a girl in college who did play right-handed; she loaned it to Harry Chapin when he came to our campus to do a concert, but his Martin got on the wrong plane... I always felt bad for him that he had to do his concert with that Alvarez - but it was kinda cool to watch him play my old guitar!)

Graduated high school in 1967.  My guitar was a 1965 Fender Telecaster...  Wish I still had it.
George

1980. No guitar then. I didn't start playing until 1981. First guitar purchased was an 1981 Ibanez Ragtime Special, "Specially Designed for the Finger Picker" "Handcrafted in Japan" Still have that guitar. Traded it for a 1986 Collectors Edition Ovation. My then Fiancee was not happy about that. So unbeknown to me she goes and buys it back from the store where I traded it. Gave it to me as a wedding gift. Needless to say, it will never be sold. It's in dire need of some internal brace repair, neck reset etc. It's is no longer played, but it is still loved.

1971.
Main guitar - Yamaha six string acoustic. Not one of their best, but nice.
Gave it away when I left Illinois in 76. No room on the motorcycle.

Would have been 1970, but I quit. Had a Fender Strat for awhile.
Got my G.E.D. in 73 at University of Houston, then went to Junior college.
That's about when I got my first nice acoustic guitar. A Gibson dread, called a Heritage. I traded my pick up and my Sigma M for it.
