So that's how that works! The brain deteriorates, making you delusional, shutting out the facts, and leaving you feeling like a pup. Dang theres a scientific explantion for everything these days.
Hey doesn't Betty White looks GREAT in that new commercial ?

My wife tells me that I'm combating the aging process by acting immaturely..... I've really got her fooled though, 'cos I'm not acting!

Hey Uncle, Ive heard they make great little slide guitars! The fact that they have a nice stout neck and handle 13's well led me to believe they'd make a good little slider.

Hopefully soon I can post a youtube clip showing one off.

Go with a glass slide as it seemed to bring out a little more resonator quality.

Thanks for the input again Uncle.
My local shop, the one I always go to and is responsible for most of my spending has a Recording King Tricone there. I spotted it when I was putting the deposit down on the Laney amp. Thats what always happens. I go to a shop to buy one thing, and something else catches my eye too.

Thats a Larrivee P-03 and the Recording King Tricone on my GAS list so far. I also happen to know where theres a lovely Japanese made Takamine FP400SC 12 string for sale for not much $$$ too...... I'm gonna need to win some money or something soon!

Hi there all.

I just got back from taking the good lady wife out on a nice dinner date. Its a welcome break from the day in day out regularity of work, running kids around and generally doing everything you have to do rather than anything you want to do.
I booked us into a nice restaurant up in the Dandenong Ranges, in a little sleepy town called Olinda. We had a lovely meal, a few nice ales and a couple hours of listening to an acoustic folk soloist doing his stuff. I suggested that we should perhaps take a bit of a drive before heading home, so we called for the bill and ambled off to the car. I went around to my wifes side of the car and very gentleman like put the key in the door lock to open the door. Where I promptly snapped the key off in the lock! I had to call up a friend to come and get us from the freezing cold night and drive us home. Tomorrow I'll have to drive up there again and try to get the key out of the door and probably get another key cut (if possible) or buy a complete new ignition barrel and key !!!!

So much for our romantic night out!

Cheers, Scott.

Well,
I got back up there this morning with my tools, pulled the lock barrel out of the door and managed to get the broken piece of key out of it. (the lock didnt survive this process). Off to the locksmith, who was able to cut me a duplicate key from the two pieces. Back home to pick up the wife, and on to Olinda to pick up the car.

I kinda wanted a sleep in this morning too.....

Don't talk about sleep please. Up til 4:30 last night/this morning. Thought I could sleep in this morning because no one was supposed to be home this morning. At 6:30 A.M. The circus starts. I was so out of it, I didn't know what part was real and what part was a bad dream. Finally start to doze off again, just getting in that never never land and there goes the phone. Off to Work. Then no time left to sleep before going to late afternoon gig. I'm cookin some simple meat over rice, lima beans and hopefully have the sense to go to bed. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Who gets the 1000th post?
