Off topic (...is everything here a little "off topic?)...

...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

So far we've gotten 2"-3" out of the 5"-6" predicted...with more predicted on Sunday-Monday...

This has truly been WINTER. Thankfully, the snowblower is working (eleven years and counting...)!

Wife and I are heading out of town for Valentine's Day.  Just a short overnight.  Do plan to bring along the L-01.  Reserved a nice hotel room with fireplace overlooking Lake Superior.

Sounds really nice Big Eric, over this side of the world we are heading down to Bells Beach, Torquay. Its mid summer here, so there will be no open fireplace, just a fridge with some chilled beer and some Chardy for the missus. The guitar will also be replaced with a surfboard.... bigrin

You might want to leave the L-01 at home.  Short overnight trip with the wife for Valentines day and the guitar seems analogous with taking your mistress along on your honeymoon.

Now if your bringing it to serenade her with a special song you wrote just for her, thats different.  Better start writing.

AC/DC is playing in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia tonight. This film clip was shot on Swanson St in Melbourne way back in 1975. Enjoy!

Man, I can't tell ya how many copies of Back in Black I wore out back in the days of cassette tapes and Walkmen. Back in Black, Giving the Dog a Bone, Have a Drink on Me, Shook Me All Night Long, Hells Bells, Let me Put My Love Into You.............Yup, the soundtrack of teen hormones for sure, for me. I hit 6th grade and Back in Black hit the airwaves. The second greatest selling album of all time! Guess it's time to break out the CD and jam some while the snow and ice are all around. Sh*t, as hot as Malcolm's licks are on that CD I just might cause flooding from playing it by melting all the snow!

We had snow in the forecast for the next couple of days, but as a song goes....

"the snow turned into rain..."  we need it, but it feels like Seattle.

Well, that sale also helped cover some of the cost of my RS-4, so I'm practical as well as romantic/smart!
