Blues bands with talent?

Im a bit of a cleche blues box player, especially with a Strat in my hands. I could call myself a traditionalist, but in reality Ive just been too lazy to challenge myself and branch out. Its still great fun to get a Strat screamin and moanin to a slow blues beat though.  :wink:

Blues??? No - that's acoustic rock (and nothing wrong with it either - but it has none of the sensibilities of blues, sorry).

I've seen all of these guys in person with the exception of Michael Schofiield.   Amazing talents in their own right.

However my personal favorite is Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings.   He is a slide guitar virtuoso with killer chops.

Oops, my mistake, it is actually Matt Schofield, from the U.K. And I will second Roy Rogers, amazing talent there for sure.
