Pat is a great player. One of the best. i met him about 20 years age at Paul Smith's Collage at a folk festival. He gave a workshop in the woods which turned into a 2 hour show. No one had the skills to keep up with him. Great time.

I've seen and talked with Pat quite a few times over the years,
Great guitar player, Great singer and songwriter.
He has a great sense of humor, very down to earth,
He writes some of the most clever/funny songs around.

For me Pat's funny songs have helped fill the void left by Steve Goodman's passing.

My wife says I can buy, sell swap guitars and cars as much as I want...
as long as I don't start swapping wives... sounds like a good deal to me.

Have seen Pat live many times. Great entertainer. Even my non-guitar-playing friends enjoy him because of novelty tunes like this, but he shines on his instrumentals. What a pro.
Thanks for posting.
