I spent three hours laying various guitar and other tracks down on a tune yesterday, came up for supper and while I was sitting around chatting, out of a clear blue sky, the power went out for a couple of minutes. I hadn't saved anything. Maybe I can reproduce what I had. Yeah, I know. Save early, save often. With the BR1600, however, I only knew how to save when I shut it down. Now I see there's an equivalent Control S command, I should have used after every track. If all else fails, check the manual. Double darn drat dang. I'll kick myself for you.

I feel your pain.       It's usually after I've just finished  a track that I'm trying to record and then I realize I'm still in "pause" mode.     Hard to be sound engineer and performer at the same time.   bigrin
