I am going to get this tomorrow...

http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/20U-9249.htm

I played it on Saturday and WOW!!! what an instrument...Like a Lakewood M-32 on steroids!!!..came home and couldn't get it off my mind (15 years ago I would have bought it on the spot, but have become more practical)   I spoke with Kent Everett regarding this instrument and he told me it is the only Laurel OM that he made!!   He is truly a great guy and SO helpful.   As many of you know, I have been through LOTS of instruments and this may be the "grail" for me.   The best part is I offered the owner (on consignment) 1200.00 and it was accepted!!!!

Hey Fit!

Congrats on the beauty!  Nice find.
Hey man, you and me have real similar tastes in guitars!  First, that ultra-cool Parlor, now the Everett!   ( Check my sig! )
I had two Laurels in my harem this year - the Laurel 'A' cutaway I still have, the smaller 'O' I traded to my guitar teacher for, get this, a whole year of weekly 2-hour lessons.   I liked the 'O' size the best, but have a few small-size guitars to fill the void.  And you are right, I never knew that a 'OM' size Laurel existed, very cool.
I checked Kent's web site out & followed the link to his latest Milano creation & boy that one gave me GAS!  Wonderful guitars.
Cheers
