This is the place to talk about your new Forum III guitars, or for those who didn't get one, to ask questions now that people are starting to get them.

How about posting arrival dates here...

The old Forum III discussion 'the Wait' is here: http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=25099.0

Since nobody else has posted in this brand new thread, I will be the first!

I absolutely love mine. Can't say enough about it. So thrilled that I got back on board with this. Was a ride being part of this project. I will shut up now.

I was waiting for someone else to post first.

Mine was received on March 16th, 2009. I put the strings on it myself and played my first tune to my wife at the factory.
My guitar has met and exceeded all my expectations, I am truly amazed at the fit, finish, set up and beautiful tones.
I was replacing the tuner buttons this morning and when I plucked the low E to tune it, ALL the strings vibrated and I was amazed all over again. What a responsive top this vintage Italian Spruce is turning out to be.

Lynda, I'm still waiting for mine. Spoke to Jim & the time is drawing near. Maybe I shouldn't tell you (don't know why not), but I voted for your F-III guitar as Git of the Month. It's absolutely beautiful & hope it sounds the same. When mine comes, I'll post my impressions. LOL

But Jeff, Bella isn't up for GOTM, that would be Holly, my PV-09E. Thanks anyways though.

I officially request some hi-res pics of someone's rosewood FIII. I need my wood porn fix.

You guys are gonna make me feel jealous all over again.  I'm looking down the road to when somebody is sick of their all-hog F3 and wants to throw it my way.

There was a lot of discussion about the tuners during the anticipation period.  For those of you lucky enough to have gone to the tour and even the luckier ones who have received their FIII-  are you pleased with the tuners

they are the usual Pings that some people do not like although I've neve had any problems with them on the 3 Larrivees I own that are outfitted with them.   I may change them out for some Gotohs at some point but it would be a cosmetic enhancement as the Pings seem to work just fine for me.

Lynda, sorry about the mistake. I still stand by my vote. Awesome guitar. Maybe next month? I might submit my "93L-10 after I take an artsy shot like Lynn or Danny. Might have my F-III by then, so who knows what I'll throw @ you! LOL

Oh Man it is starting heat up. 16 guitars shipped from Larrrivee Monday for arrival here next week. Nine more shipped today with one being a direct ship in Canada. I wounder if mine will be in this group. I got 100 bone saddle blanks in FexEx yesterday. They will not last long.
If I see the UPS truck i will get a shot of the first boxes coming off the back.
