Another shot of John with his Forum III

This one shows the microphones.
Vocal - Beyerdynamic M88
Guitar - AKG C451 (aim slightly up toward the neck between the upper frets and the sound hole).  John was pretty consistent with the position of the guitar relative to the microphone. I thought this worked out well.

ST, all your pictures are the wrong way round  whistling

Looks like an awesome event, and a lot of hard work to make it work.

ST, you really pulled off a special time here. I really missed out on this one.

Too many guitars... But I keep thinking one more may just do it.

Johnny's C19 and Forum III

Catch the wild reflection on the C19 of the Forum III binding.

Vancouver is on what some folks call, "the left coast". Does that explain it?

This is the area where we placed the guitar cases.  I lightened the picture so you could get a sense of the space. Yes, that is a motorcycle, coin-operated baseball game, piano, christmas tree, and a red chair. I don't know why any of that is in there - except for the piano.

The red chair took on a life of its own moving about from place to place throughout the evening.

This is Dennis, a local performer who is always picking and singing somewhere in the neighbourhood. He is one of the cleanest players I've ever heard. He's in the same space as above, just getting ready to hit the stage.
