Thanks for posting these comments in your understandably sleepy states.  It must have been a big day!!  I am really really pleased that everyone had such a good time.  Sorry to hear Mike didn't get to see his guitar, but getting to choose the wood for the replacement must be a special treat.  Thank you for taking the time to look up my SN and taking pics of my guitar Ricky, I can't wait to see them.  Thanks Danny for telling us how awesome the sound too.  Now I am seriously thinking I should've gone for hog/spruce.  I am sure I'll forget that when I see some pics of the RW!!

I will almost be sad in a way when the guitars are all delivered, because this has been so much fun along the way.

Thanks again

14. The mural outside the Factory by the parking lot where they have gigantic hunks of spruce to be turned into guitar tops - my rental car on the foreground.
15. John Jr. introducing Edwin and Jeremy as our tour guides. We were free to ask the employees / workers any questions throughout the day to our heart's delight and heart's content. Take unlimited pictures. Our host, John Jr. was so gracious.

Love the picture of the Hyundai Accident :humour:.  I also note that Jeremy has a normal blank mug.  He must have taken heed of the comments on the Larrivee mug on facebook and hidden it for fear of forumite swiping!

Awesome pictures for an awesome day!!!  Thanks so much for posting the photos.  Many of us couldn't be there with you but its such a thrill seeing all of you over there at the Mothership with John Larrivee and the gang!!!!  I hope you all gave them a big collective thank you from all of the forumites!!

Keep posting photos.  The pictures I especially liked were the ones of each of you holding your new Forum III guitars.

Ricky and Danny:  Your guitars look incredible.

Danny:  You are killing me bro.  What did the guitar sound like when you first played it???  How does it compare to your other gits?

Thx.

Jordan.

Look at Danny's signature for your answer Jordan.  Ricky is to thank for the pictures so far, I just posted them after he emailed me them.  It sometimes helps being on the other side of the clock!

ST was an instant friend (even though I came close to backing into his very , very nice car) I had the pleasure of stringing up the first F-III (imagine that) and then after I played ''For my Lady" to my wife. I passed this marvelous little git to Larrivee employees and to ST. Who is a top shelf player. I watched his countenance grow brighter until true joy was expressed in his visage and he asked if there were any extras made, so he could obtain one.
I am so glad ST made it to this tour.

Danny, is was great to meet you.

Yup - instant friends - any man who hands me his  brand new Guitar to break the ice - well how do you top that?

Thank you - really, for doing that as I was a little breathless having been on-again /  off-again about being able to get there at all. I came hurtling in from surprise engagement, unsure what I would find when I arrived.  John Jr took a look at the Guitar I had in tow for the jam later and handed it to Ed(win). At that moment I did not know with whom I was speaking. They decided it needed some help and that it would be staying with them for about 10 days. With that, without an instrument, I was lost.

A few minutes later we met, got on immediately, and all was well again.

To all - back to the instruments.

For steel stringed Guitars I've got L-bodies and Dreads and a Jumbo. Nothing smaller. I had not seriously spent any time exploring these little guys. Well, yesterday was a revelation. As I got to playing Danny's beautiful Guitar, I could hear what it had to say, clear as a bell. Just, as I think Danny put it, 'says what it has to say and moves on'. Sorry Danny if I misquoted you, but that was the sense of what I got from you. I was distracted by the Guitar while we were talking in Ed's room.

Thanks everyone for the pictures above.

ST, that's right, it says what it has to say and moves on. Ed,Jeremy and I think Shawn at Larrivee also played my guitar(employee's of Larrivee and really nice folks.)
Dermot played it as well later and fell in love with it too. I'm tellin ya'll this is what I excpected and more. My set up is way low, and even there it was taking some fairly serious strumming, but of course is SHINES at finger style.
Heh that first pic of the "Goofy cowboy grinner" is just well..... GOOFY.

Congrats, guys and gals!  They look great!

Ricky - I love the cutaway.  I'm really glad I got one after seeing yours above.

Looking forward to it!

Adam

Thanks for the pic's, looks like a good time was had by all.
Travel safe.
