FYI, re: Facebook, I'm not real happy being there either, but if you put the minimum amount of info about yourself, it seems to be safer. I have my pic of Holly as my picture and I haven't said where I live. Just my six cents.

Wow!!!

I am so out of the loop.  There's Facebook talk, pictures, and an exclusive thread for pictures of the build process of the FG III.

Thanks so much whoever is responsible for this... Randy, Ben, and is there anyone else I missed?  Thanks to all.

BTW, Randy, how do you find time to do anything else?  :humour: (the OOO-60 Braz/Adi must be seeing a lot of playing time)

So cool to have pictures and documentation and names of Larri staff.

ricky  :nanadance

(PS. I was already in bed last night, when my wife Beth walked into our room, handed me an envelope stuffed with 300bucks and said, "for your guitar"

I need to clarify whether she's referring to the FG III or the OM-40 at Long & McQuaide I'm GAS-ing about... oooppsies !!!  :nana_guitar)

there are a few more pics and captions up now - it isn't easy keeping up!!! Thank you John larrivee for posting all these pics, it is fantastic.

This is the application of extra strong glue and the 'special' clamp with maximum pressure, to make sure the patch cannot get stolen by aliens.

You laugh, but I heard if they don't clamp it down it turns into a big block of ebony with the number two on it.

Did anyone see any Hog tops in the photos or are they doing the Italian Spruce top guitars first?  I thought I saw at least one Hog top having the bracing installed in one of the photos but wasn't sure.  None of the serial numbers seems to have a "MT" designation and the one shot of all tops being sent into the humidity room was all IS.

Having daily photos makes the whole thing so much more fun.

Jordan.

Does this mean that you guys managed to confirm that the V is actually a V and that it designates cutaway? It just seems unlikely since LSV is the designation used previously.

Okay...okay...  it's hard to stay away from this place.  But, I thought this "wait" thread has just become a "what's the weather today" kinda discussion.

Well, well, well, was I ever wrong!

Honestly, I was trying to add fuel to what seems to be a discussion that may eventually give birth to another limited production git in another thread.

Now, I need to be re-educated how to use "Facebook" --- I don't even remember my password there.

QUESTION: Can someone tell me what the V stands for in the VS03 --- does that mean "V" for venetian cutaway?

ricky
