Actually, Dotneck, that's the collectibilty aspect I had in mind. As my first 03 series I'll need tutorials on how to care for my LS-03.

And I forgot about a comment from Jim Holler, we may also need some stickers for the case!

locked again. Thanks ben

btw, I've asked John Larrivee for the fullsize pics for those that want them, and I'll make them available also.

I just printed them off on photo paper at about 3"x4" size, and they are pretty clear at the current resolution.  If you wanted them much larger, the full size pictures would be beneficial though.

Norman,

Are you crazy? Stickers on a Larrivee case. That's sacrilige! On a crappy case sure..but on a Larrivee case...  :roll

I wouldn't use embroidered polishing cloths...I'd be afraid the embroidery would scratch the newly buffed surface of the guitar. An embroidered cloth might look nice framed and hung on the wall though...

How about an embroidered G String? I'll let you mull that one over...

              WOW !   WOW !  just....   WOW !

After looking at the photos of the Forum III's being built I feel like I'm watching one of my kids being born.   OK that's a big overstatement, but I still got a few goosebumps and this whole thing has become a lot more real to me all of a sudden.  I wish I knew what my serial number was so I could track it along the way.   These are much further along than I expected at this point.

                 MORE PICTURES !

I agree, they are progressing fast!!!  There are more pictures here than on Facebook now, because there are a couple that John posted and then took down again for some reason.  I will endeavour to keep up to date and transfer them accross for those who don't have access to facebook.

Shoot, I'd just use mine for a scrunchie. Wait that sounds perverse, what I mean, is those days are long goooone and it would end up being used for something numbingly practical.

See, now how many thought...."How would you get all that stitching on a G String?' and how many thought stripper wear? Hmmmmmmm...
The hardcore folks could go straight for the G String made out of one.

Ow.

Hey, did we ever get the skinny on the tuners for the guitars?

Tuffy, I copied the pictures for my own sad little reasons, it took 2 minutes to post them on here.  I understand why facebook concerns people, it does me too, so it seemed to make sense.

Thanks are due to John Larrivee, Jim Holler and Randy for the photos being taken in the first place.

There are more pics on Facebook now.  I'll copy them accross.  Randy, do you want to unlock the pics thread, and I can put a note at the bottom of my last post each time for responses to be directed here instead?  The site says it will be updated with pics daily.

whose facebook page should I go to look at these photos??????
Jeffrey

HA!  I was right, the VS is the cutaway model, not an untidy LS.  There is a pic with the three VS-03R sides in it, of which one will be Ricky's.  I think it is pretty cool that they will be a VS.  possibly the only VS's ever made????  I still assume it is to diferentiate them from the LSV-11 which is a different animal altogether.

One of these (second from the left and fourth from the left) has some beutiful stripes on it!!

Sorry, I am not often right, I like to be smug when I am.

Look in the photos area here, most of them are on here now.  I have the rest ready to go when Randy unlocks the thread.
