Not to worry Jeff, your second to last on the list. Still plenty of time to come up with the money.

It's a little longer than that, lol. Which is good because I need to come up with some $$$. Bluerectangle.com here I come.  I would imagine that the first ones won't be in the shop and done until the end of March at the earlist. i mean, Jim has to sleep.

I thought JCL estimated them to come out in March. I think it will take longer than that to get them all done but I thought that was the target...right?

All right!!!  This is great news.  Now I'm starting to get excited!!  Might be worth a trip to Vancouver to see the guitars being made.

Randy R wrote in the original forum 3 discussion thread.....

"As soon as we decide the rosette issue, Jim can start taking orders

(starting today, deposits may be received within a 2-week or 4-week period; which will make approx delivery date of mid-March to late-March -   12 weeks to production). "

So they are right on schedule! (I think spring comes later in canada...)

I think I see where the confusion lies. Here it's Spring. Up there it's Spring, eh? So they should be ready in Spring, eh?

No, dude, what hilarious is me walking upstairs and going 'Duh, it's Ay, not eh.' That just sounds like some Yiddish guy relating the weather.

'Spring, eh? Not so much'

as opposed to

'Spring, Ay?'

I have to say, though, I'm punchy as hell and headed for bed. I practiced and like somewhere in the middle Who By Fire started to take on this yippee ky ay cowboy riding down the trail thing.  Then i started laughing and couldn't stop and my husband was totally lost when I tried to explina it was a Leonard Cohen Cowboy Song. And then when he didn't understand, and who would, I totally lost it and laughed so hard I almost dropped my guitar.

So, um, goodnight...

We have the first pictures taken by John Larrivee Jr.

http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=25417.0

I'll keep that thread locked, so post comments here.

They are also at a Facebook group called "Larrivee Forum III guitar" maintained by John Jr.

I don't have the answers to any of the other questions posted today about what is first, but look at the pics. You'll get a few clues.

Looks to me like there are some hog/spruce, hogtop, and and rosewood/spruce models under way.  That should make everyone feel a little more comfortable...

Those pictures are totally cool!!!  I'd love to know what my serial number is in case I see it in a photo.

Sure hope there's an all-hog left-handed one in that group !

Maybe they are going to do all the spruce tops first because it's easier to do all of one kind in one run ?
I'd feel more excited if I saw a #3 in one of those pics.
