I woke up this morning and my left hand was numb,

Had so much liquor, I was blind, deaf and dumb.

Looks like we've got the beginnings of a song.

uh..look after the hand, eh.

I'm so sorry. Have you done that before, meaning was it a new body movement or have you been happily hammering on up until now? Is it a motion where your finger makes a hook? I have an appt. with my massage person Thursday, I'll ask her about it and PM you with any info I get. I would say don't do it anymore for now, for sure.

No,  it was not anything new but I was smacking it down pretty hard. My hand was in a position where my finger was straight, no bends at any joints except the knuckle. It does feel a little better today but I'm still going to baby it. My wife filled a 2 liter bottle with hot water and I rested my hand on it last night while watching TV.  It probably doesn't help sitting at the computer with my wrist resting against the edge of the notebook. Guess I'll read more and type less.

I'm not that good at singing the blue's, too happy, it's just not convincing.  Although I'm not real happy now that I can't play my guitar so we'll work on those lyrics.

And thanks, I'm sure it will be fine. IABGO (it's a bi*** getting old)  Sorry, that other thread, I just can't get it out of my head.

Woke up this morning my left hand was numb
No fun getting older
Just parts of a setting sum
Creaking and moaning, wishing I was young (butnotsomuchbecauseIwassortofanassandIcouldn'taffordaguitaranyway...)
Woke up this morning, my left hand was numb.

Woke up yesterday morning, and my stomach was gurgling
Sat on the john and did some purging
Went in to work because I'm tough
Lasted 30 minutes and that was enough

Came back home and returned to the throne
Spent the rest of day going to and from
Couldn't sleep last night as my head was pounding
I've got the flu, the way things are sounding

Probably should be played in the key of F.
Three Larries and a Guild and an A&L...and electrics...and a mando

Uh oh.     I played this song myself a couple of weeks ago.  :yak:   Ain't no fun.
Hope you feel better soon and start playing a different tune.

I have the cold that never ends, but I feel worse for you. If it helps, I'm going outside to pick up dog poop.

Misery loves company? Actually, I'd rather pick up frozen dog poop than have a stomach virus. It helped the neighbors avoid a very unpleasant Spring thaw...

I just go over it with the snowblower and shoot it into the neighbors yard.  :cop:

I've got the flu now.  I didn;t know you could contract diseases internationally through computer forums.  It doesn't warn you when you sign up.

Typical, I have the day off for a meeting at the kids school that will last 10 minutes, so I get a whole day of holidays to waste by feeling ill.

Happy days though, its nearly the end of January, NAMM is over, the guitars will be here soon.

If you knew the harpie that lives next door, you;d know how tempted I am to go get a snow blower.

Aren't we just a happy bunch on the 22nd of January. :roll

Holly's gone and hurt herself and has to go outside and pick up dog poop.
Adam's going insane waiting for delivery.
Ben's gone and got himself the flu.

And to make matters worse, Ricky has gone AWOL and there has been no news on the forum gits. Sigh.

I had a great 22nd.

I bought my daughter, who is now 5 years old, a Harmonica a few years back. She played it a few times and it has been sitting in a drawer most of the time. My father-in-law played the Dutch version of "Happy Birthday" to her over the internet two weeks ago and a harmonica. (The Dutch version is much more complicated than the "standard").  Anyway, she tells my wife and I she wants to play the song like grandpa. She gets the harmonica out and pretty much nails the tune!  I love having musical kids!!!!!!!!!!!  :bgrin: :bgrin: :bgrin:

Ok Adam, gotta say it... but that's a strange order for a guy. Doesn't sex come above all else?  :roll
