Thanks Randy. I just emailed Jim to inquire about the list. Lynda, mine's an IS/HOGHB. It's also not a lefty (don't know if you're referring to another person), but just a righty with neck dots reversed. I normally pay to have dots put on the opposite side, but Jim said Larrivee would accommodate me.

So it seems I have come to doubt, all that I once held as true

where do any of the pics say LS-03HB?  some say LS-03MH, and some say LS-03R, and one says VS-03R, and one LS-03RLH.

Here, this is the list I am referring to. These are all LS-03 with Herring Bone.

It's just a picture folks, I just took the numbers and went to Randy's order list (above) and noticed that they were all LS-03HB, nothing more nothing less. Like I said it means nothing.

How much you wanna bet the list was put up just to see the resulting scrambling to make sense of it? Maybe it's a red herring. Yu know grassy knoll and all that.

Holly- you're probably right. I have to go & do my taxes in about an hour, so I'm a little on the nervous side already. I'll think positive !

Oh, sweety, I know once you read you weren't on the list you'd go "Ack!". I would too. But, you and your soon to be guitar are in the best of hands. Worst case scenario is they go "Ooops" and throw another on the pile.

Who knows, maybe yours is coming stuffed with cash too?

I took that pic purely to be one page of a bundle to show these were part of the trinity guitar order, nothing more sinister than that.  Not like me not to be paranoid about something.

Just mailed Jim about that list. He said that it is only a reference, not to worry about anything. Remember, there are 78 to build. He said to keep an eye on the list as it's posted. Ben, I'm not paranoid, just a little gun-shy !

I've uploaded the full size (1.7mb) images to my ftp site. I've posted links to each full size file with the resized forum-friendly pictures at http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=25417
Thanks so much Randy...now I am really excited.

I never insinuated that you were paranoid, just that I usually am.  No offence intended.

Right, this probably has such a simple answer, but I am an idiot, and have probabl missed it.  I have noticed this from previous factory pictures too.  The pictures show the backs and sides, OK, so (and we can rule out the maybe it is a cutaway model, because they are identified by a VS-03 name) why are they identified as right or left hand at this early stage.  Surely for the back and sides it makes no difference at all, and neither should it for the top until the bracing is added.

Forgive my ignorance.

I believed matt's lyrics, sorry.
Hey, from what Randy said, it sounds like they were still just pickin out the wood when I wrote it.
Not that you should ever take any guidance from anything I write!  :bgrin:
Looks like they're on it now.
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.

I was kind of being sarcastic Matt!!  However, it was actually pretty good to try and believe that they weren't started yet, which made today's update that bit more of a surprise.

Back on the subject of your song, I was listening to the Easy Rider soundtrack the other day as a direct result, and was kind of making up some alternative lyrics to 'The Pusher' as I believe that that is what this forum is.  Something along the lines of (a) buy a Larrivee, (b) join this forum to share it with other like-minded souls, leading to (c) getting real bad Larry flavoured GAS.

'I said god damn, the pusherman!!'

The dealer can be JH, because he's a good guy in the song too.

I am pretty poor at lyrics though.

Hopefully your guitar will last longer than a few hits of junk!
Guitars aren't a bad buy. You have something to show for your money hopefully for a long time.
And i was just jokin too, I had no idea where there were in process when I wrote.

You are right there.  However, when this all kicked off, and Ricky was posting his breaking news at between 12pm and 3am my time, I spent two weeks walking 'round with tombstones in my eyes.

My similarities with the song stop now though, I'll shut up.

Ben, I believe when they pick out the wood they write the serial number on each piece to keep track of everything.
