I've been using John Pearse new mediums which I bought from Novalis a while back.  I like them alot.  Because they aren't treated, they don't last quite as long as I'd like and they do sqeek just a bit, but they give the guitar a nice full sound with just enough punch in the bass for my style of play.  I've tried Elixer nanoweb and Daddario exp which seemed more suited to my other guitars.  I don't care much for the Cleartones it came with.  I seem to recall that RoundlakeD likes GHS which I've never tried.  There's something special about the way each note rings out and interacts with the other notes when I strum a simple major chord in first position with the JP new mediums.  I'll probably try the GHS just to see what I've been missing.  Who has some other reccomendations?

I just thought I'd bump this topic once, and then let it be.

Wish I had more to offer, but I've been pleased with my EJ16s, and haven't really used anything else. Danny used another brand that he liked, but none of my local shops carried them, and I've forgotten the name -

My LSV really came alive with GHS - nearly any type

Currently I'm using their Bright Bronze, which adds a lot of sparkle to the guitar and lasts pretty long.  The Lawrence Juber signature version was as good or better but didn't seem to last more than a week before losing a lot of what I'd liked about it.  So Bright Bronze it is
