00-09FM     cause it's just cool

Unfortunately, that's a question beyond my knowledge because the only Larri I've ever played is my L-03R. I would love to try an LSV-11 and would love to find an 00-09. I saw an L-05 on eBay that I would like to have, and if I could have convinced myself to swing it, I would have bought an L-09 instead of my L-03R. Not that I don't enjoy my L-03R, but I like the look of gloss and how it seems to define the pattern of the woods.

For me, there is no "best." Each one is great in its own way, and sound, looks, and playability are such subjective characteristics.

Well, I voted for the L-03R because I love mine but my favourite ever is definitely the OO-50.

I've owned several on your list and played most of them at least once.  I could have easily walked out of a couple of shops with an L-05... :nice guitar:

What?  No parlors on your list?  I love those too!

try to figure out the most favorite one among Larrivee forum members.

The best.....why of course it's the 50 series Traditionals, 00-50 and big brother 000-50
:nice guitar:s

OK since no 00 or LSV-11  I voted for L-03R. It is the JCL exclusive recipe. Thus the unique Larrivee "balanced tone".    I never had a L-09 or L-10 or L-19 but I think they would be very similar, all being RW/Spruce and basically a little more finish and bling.
The L-03R is always my recommendation to those who ask which one to try first, if they don't need a small guitar.
Our Forum III will be a smaller version as a LS-03R/IS that should be one sweet git.
The LS-03 MT and IS will be different in tone and volume (brightness etc.) But they are still The L series in a smaller 12 fret package.
I would vote for the Forum III if it were on the list, in all 3 tonewoods :guitar :guitar :guitar

As long as its a Larrivee, can I vote for the one that's closest to where I'm sitting -

Or if I have to run to the kitchen for another egg-nog, whichever one is along that path -

Bunch of Larrivees - all good -
and a wife that still puts up with me, which is the best -

The beloved Pete Anderson model still tops them all.... comfortable, great tone, sustain, overtones, neck, looks, plugged in sound too.

Rosewood/sitka great complexity of  tones available. Can bang the .... outta it & keep up with the best  or tickle the highs a bit closer to the bridge and get all angelic too . Wide varity of volumes available with the dreads. I also like the narrower nut, don't mind the wider ones, just prefer the narrower one. Over all I guess I am more of a traditionalist. I do have a "L-05" 12er and love the Hog for the 12 string, but rosewood is my pref with 6 strings.

From that list.......   the OM-03R is my choice.   great player, well balanced, good size.   Big guitar in a medium guitar body.

:+1: I'll trow my SD-50 in among these!!!

D-50, D-60, SD-50 and SD-60 added!

I'm strictly rating sound. I have a rosewood D and an L. I prefer the L for playability and comfort, but the D-03R is one of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard. Votes can be cruel, but there are no losers here. Everyone likely voted for a guitar they own. I'll bet that in a few months, the new forum guitar, a smaller body than the L, will be among the top-rated. I'd expect the L-03R to win today and most days because it's the most affordable version of the most distinct Larrivee, in Jean's favorite combo of sitka and rosewood. And it's a terrific instrument.

Came back to vote none of the above but i see you added the D-60. thanks for thinking of us traditional owners. flathead

you're welcome

Since you still haven't added the LV-03R, you still won't get a vote for the best -
