I remember when that song come out, or shortly thereafter, the word was that Jeff Beck had written it and traded it for another song of Wonder's. Wic says Wonder wrote it for Beck, then recorded it him self 1st
and gave Beck "Because we've ended as lovers" I Wonder if wic is correct about history.
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.

Darn, you just made me realize what a sorry excuse for a guitar player I really am :humour:
thanks a lot!

The first time I heard ' Superstition' on guitar was last summer at a concert here in the Nashville area.
Former national guitar champion Pete Hunttlinger played it.
It was a 'signature'song for him.
Pete used to play in John Denver's band.

- From the way Pete talked about it, I got the impression few other guitarists could play it.
...have to wonder what he would say now if he watched this video  :bgrin:

I went back and listened to Pete's youtube version and don't see much difference than this version -
except that Pete played louder and with more 'showmanship for the crowd'.
here is Pete's version  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRamobGYBCE

Sungha plays his version so smooth and effortlessly - :thumb
My respect level for Sungha has gone up even more after hearing this new video by him.

It came out about the same time as Wonder's in early 70's on Jeff Beck album  Beck, Bogart and Appice, on guitar of course. It's got some good guitar.
